Jewelry historian Emily Satloff was inspired by her love of Georgian technique to recreate the lost art of colored foiling, combining precious metals and jewels to produce an iconic halo effect. Her pieces, which combine a lush 18th-century sensibility in gemstone cut and placement with a bold contemporary eye, has subtle color variations that shift and shimmer as the wearer moves through changing light.
