Cocktail Rings
The Cocktail Ring dates back to the Prohibition era when drinking was illegal, and speakeasy bars were popping up around the country. The chicest women of the decade would fully embrace the illicit act of drinking by doing so in an oversized statement ring. Cocktail rings were a kind of rebellion at the time. Now we love them for their dramatic design and seismic stones.
Antique & Vintage Rings
Many contemporary rings we love today harken back to the designs inspired by the Georgian, Art Deco, and Nouveau eras. Our collection of Antique & Vintage Jewelry is highly curated, as we seek out the best of rings of decades past.
Engagement Rings
We have the 13th Century Romans to thank for the tradition of engagement rings! Fast forward to the 21st Century, and a lot has changed in the world of bridal. No longer restricted to diamond rings only, engagement rings are designed to suit your style and include personal touches like engraved initials or birthstones.
Shop Edwardian →Signet & Pinky Rings
The signet ring is a design “borrowed from the boys.” Initially designed for men, the signet ring is now a staple in any modern jewelry collection. Signets are typically designed with initials, dates or designs, engraved on top of a flat surface. At BE, we love to style signets on the pinky for an effortless look.
Bands
Bands are among the earliest silhouettes of jewelry found by archaeologists. Their designs span from thick Cigar bands (named after the wrapping on expensive cigars) to thin stacking bands that can be layered. Eternity bands are designed with a similarly shaped stone set around the ring. It’s not surprising that you can never have too many bands!
