A modern day treasure hunter, Xiao Wang uses reclaimed metals and untreated stones based on practices passed onto her by her grandfather (a miner) and her father (a recycled metals dealer).
Having a light environmental footprint may be second nature to her, but goes a long way in the increasingly urgent call for sustainability these days. Like the low-impact of her pieces on the environment, the designs are dainty and simple, yet strikingly beautiful with unique stone placements and material choices.
Similar to her process, sometimes the smallest jewels can have the most major impact.
