What about jewelry is so exciting to work with?
What makes jewelry exciting to me is its symbolic and emotional value. Jewelry often represents a relationship, a memory, or an important moment in someone’s life, while also allowing people to express their personality.
Do you have a favorite stone?
I especially love diamonds for their brilliance and timeless beauty, and they work perfectly with the lightness and movement of our designs. Pearls are also very special to me, as they are part of my family’s gemstone tradition.

Hi! Do you mind introducing yourself?
Hello, my name is Mattia Cielo. I’m an Italian jewelry designer and the founder of the brand Mattia Cielo. My work focuses on innovation in fine jewelry, exploring movement, flexibility, and new materials to create pieces that feel dynamic and comfortable to wear.
Where are you currently?
I am currently based in Vicenza, Italy, where our atelier and production are located. Vicenza has a long tradition in fine jewelry, which continues to inspire our work every day.
How did you arrive at creating your line?
The idea for my line started in a very personal way. I designed a piece of jewelry for my future wife, and while creating it I began thinking about how jewelry could be lighter, more flexible, and more comfortable to wear. That moment sparked my interest in exploring movement and innovation in fine jewelry, which eventually led to the creation of the Mattia Cielo brand.
What are three words that best describe the brand?
Soft, flexible, and light.
What does a typical work day look like for you?
My day is a mix of creativity and collaboration. I spend time developing new ideas, reviewing prototypes, and working with my team to refine each piece.
