Aida Bergsen
This Istanbul based designer draws her inspiration from the aesthetic and cultural traditions of her country of origin, using the ancient lost wax technique of traditional Turkish jewelry making to create wearable works of contemporary art. Her work plays with light and shadow, elaborately crafted designs which pay homage to myths, legends, and the splendor of the natural world.
