Inspired by the traditional heritage of Anatolia, The Dowry collection is Sevan’s interpretation of Anatolian symbols with his unique way of translating words and ideas to physical forms and reinventing them with gems and particular techniques such as micromosaics and engraving craftsmanship. These exquisitely decorated and finely embroidered one-of-a-kind bangles are today’s modern and strong women’s dowry. Every one of them is meticulously and delicately handmade and is a homage to Anatolia’s rich history. The fastening dagger of the lock is an aesthetic reference to Sevan's surname. Inspired by the family name “Bıçakçı”, which means “Bladesmith”. The name originated from Sevan's Armenian metal-smith heritage, beginning with his great grandfather being summoned to Istanbul to make swords and daggers for the Imperial Palaces.
