For as long as she can remember, Naomi was driven to work with her hands. As a child she would construct and deconstruct objects, from old telephones and doorbells to intricate clay sculptures. Calmed and inspired by the ocean waves, the tall trees, and the form and shadow of everyday objects, this connection has profoundly informed her creativity. Her passion to work with her hands and her love of creating small-scale beauty prompted her first jewelry collection in 2010. Maslon is fascinated by the gravity of heirlooms, relics and amulets as everyday objects and looks to create that one cherished piece that defines us and reminds us of ourselves.
